Celtic were reduced to ten men after only eight minutes when goalkeeper Eli Ozman was red carded for handling the ball outside his goal area. Right sided fullback Erion Guri volunteered to go in goal and made a fantastic save five minutes later to deny Peamount an opening goal.
Castleknock suffered a further loss when left fullback Darren Samson came off injured before half-time which forced Connor Watt to switch from midfield to left-back. This makeshift back four of Connor Watt, Ryan Condell, Chuck Abianyo and Ciaran Eccles defended brilliantly restricting Peamount to only a handful of scoring opportunities.
In the second half Celtic battled on with Captain Zeke Ipkopkro, John Kane and Harry Stones taking control of the midfield with wingers Scott Daly and Danny Ursu tormenting the Peamount defence. With fifteen minutes to go, Scott Daly played a perfect through ball to Will Hennessy who outpaced the Peamount defence and calmly place the ball into the bottom corner of the net.
Hennessy scored his second goal of the match with five minutes remaining, with another trademark calm finish.
This win should secure the division title for Celtic.
