12B/B1 Cup: Celtic's 12B come good in extra time. Ballymun Utd had gone in front halfway through the first half against the run of play. In fairness, Celtic should have had a few goals themselves before Louis Vella popped up 15 metres out to shoot high into the Ballymun net. It was still 1-1 at full time despite both sides going close. The excellent Hakim Malaoui got Celtic in front in extra time, and he was followed onto the scoresheet by Romeo Nweke who had put in a huge shift. With a minimum of backlift, he prodded home from 12 metres after Hakim and Patrick O'Reilly combined to set him up. The best was kept till last however.
