Celtic are out-gunned by St Kevin's Boys in shoot-out in Porterstown. Celtic were 3 down in 15 minutes, but fought back to draw level early in the second half. First it was Tom Bolton who struck for Celtic halfway through the first half. He hit a second early after the restart. It was then the turn of debutant James Cremin who showed great pace and a clean pair of heels to the SKB defence before rifling home Celtic's third to bring the sides level. Having played the first half in goal for Celtic, James was having the game of his life. In the space of 3 minutes he could have put Celtic ahead as he tormented the visitors' defence. But it was SKB who got their noses in front again, and they never looked back, going on to win 6-3. Thomas and James both went close again, including where the keeper took James down as he was through on goal. Kenan Tutundic played a great game in defence, showing the most improvement in any player over the past fortnight. Jerome Powell ran his heart out, while Sean Ogbomo was flat out on his feet. Seb and Kevin never stopped battling, as did Joe and Olly at full back. Niall Maloney played a midfield role, tussling for possession throughout. Andy Maguire put in a big shift in the middle of the park, as he ran from box to box. Well done boys and we look forward to seeing you all at training on Monday at 6pm. 3-6
