U-10 B Div. gave a wonderful display of total football in Drogheda and outclassed their opposition with a staggering 19 shots vs the opponent's ten.
On target for Celtic were Luke Simmonds with a brace, Jake Sheehan, Cristian Larini and Daire Glennane who converted a penalty after winning the spot kick.
Drogheda Boys were a very organised and fast team but the brilliance of Cillian Murray and Yousaf Shah in the midfield restricted the opposition to rely mostly on fast counterattack with clinical finishing by their strikers.
Celtic through the entire match were the team on the front foot, taking the initiative to their opponents. Donnacha Collins and Kobe Camara and Brion Mcgrath defended very well, unlucky to concede 3 of the goals from scramles in the box.
Impressive lads, you set a new (higher) standard for your next matches.
Bravi bravissimi!
