11C Sun: Celtic and Verona end scoreless in Coolmine. 0-0
11D1 Sat: Mount Merrion outgun Celtic in windblown Deerpark which made football impossible. Celtic had gone 2-0 ahead early on with goals from Andy Maguire (click for goal) and James Cremin. Andy had seized on an opportunity on the edge of the Merrion box and he rifled home. Soon after James, who is in a rich vein of form, was on the mark himself when he hit a belter into the top corner. (click for goal). On another day, he could have had a hat trick as he went close a number of times. Celtic led 2-1 at half time, but they were not able to hold their lead against the howling wind. Man of the match was Celtic's goalkeeper, Niall Maloney, who made a string of fabulous saves throughout the game. Unfortunately, the wind was the winner which meant it was impossible to control the ball. Next training is Thurs at 6pm in Porterstown Park.
11E Sat: Anthony Cooke's goal gave Celtic a slender advantage at half time. Missing some members of their squad, the team tired in the second half and Park Celtic went on to win. 1-5

12C Sat: Tremendous win for Castleknock over Wayside away in Jackson Park. Castleknock won 1-0 away to Wayside. A BRILLIANT TEAM PERFORMANCE, up front completely solid with Aidan and Sean, Aaron and John and Dylan, John was a sidewinder in midfield and overall the team had 25 attempts on goal with a memorable post from our own half by Daragh. Today's goal was by Sean. Impregnable defence by Daragh, Kalin, Ayaan, Freddie, Ronan and Quavim Ahmad. James made three brilliant saves and otherwise had a quiet time in goal.
12-4 Sun: Donie & Gavin were delighted with their team's performance at home to title chasers St Malachy's. Celtic moved within 3 points of Malachys with this victory today. It was very much a squad effort that delivered the result. It was the 3-Jays who were on the mark. Jonah Courtney, Joe Craven and Jake Hayes all found the net, (click goal), with assists from Euan Kavanagh, and 2 corners from Evan McGrath. Well done boys. 3-2
