A great night for Celtic as they showed why they are still in the league title chase as we enter the business end of the season. Jamie Traynor continued his rich vein of form where he has been scoring for fun. He hit another hat-trick which must make him a candidate for the Golden Boot award. Tonight he was joined in the hat-trick club by Sylviu Aghinita who could have made it 4 goals if he had not been pole-axed in the box. He did not convert the resultant penalty, although Kevin Keane got his second from the rebound. Joey Crampton was on the mark for Celtic on his return after a spell out injured. The teams currently at the top of the table will be looking over their shoulders with Celtic recording this blistering victory. The game this Sunday at 11am in Porterstown between Celtic and Howth could be crucial in the chase for the title.
We had a laugh at game too. Ref booked Celtic player for kicking ball at goal after whistle blew. Soon after we had player going into tackle with all studs showing, but no card. Funniest quip of the night : "Ref, player was lucky he didn't kick the ball away !!"
